2018 Key Dates & Events

"Open Sesame" Poker Run, Saturday January 20th
Come celebrate the opening of another snowmobile season.
Departs from the Stonecliffe Twonship Hall at 10:30AM. Community dinner at the hall starting anytime after 4:00PM. Proceeds support the Missing Link Snowmobile Club.

Annual Bow-Tie Classic Poker Run, Sat March 3rd
Snowmobile poker run with cash prizes followed by a silent auction at the Stonecliffe Township Hall. Sponsored by the Missing Link Snowmobile Club.

ATV "Geocache" Poker Run , Saturday May 5th
ATV poker run with cash prizes. We provide the GPS coordinates, you find the hidden treasure and then trade in for your poker cards. Hosted at Morning Mist Resort.

Victoria Day Holiday Long Weekend, Friday May 18th
Fishing season opens for Pickerel/Walleye and Northern Pike.

Canada Day at Morning Mist, July 1st
Come out for the big bang with the bonfire on the beach and plenty of fireworks!

Labour Day Horseshoe Tournament, September 2nd
Our annual horseshoe tournament takes place on Sunday of Labour Day weekend. No experience necessary and fun for all with plenty of laughs and prizes.

Canadian Airborne Forces Museum
Offers outdoor exhibits of military vehicles and aircraft as well as indoor displays illustrating the 45-year history of military parachuting in Canada.

The Canadian Clock Museum
View over 300 clocks from the museum's large collection along with the heritage of Canadian clock manufacturers and sellers dating back to the early 1800's.

The School House Museum
Captures the history of the Deep River area with a unique collection of artifacts and photographs dating back to the early 1800's.
